“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”  – Mahatma Gandhi

food_hungry MCKS Food for Hungry Foundation was started in 2004 by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui out of growing concern for the proper care and nutrition of children. Food and nutrition is the right which no child should be deprived of. This foundation began with handing out 30,000 meals to those in need in the Philippines and now continues to distribute food in many countries throughout the word including South America, Asia, Africa and the U.S.

In India, the foundation started its charitable work in 2005 through its centers in Delhi, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat and Maharashtra and then spread its operations throughout the country. Its vision is to make India free of hunger and livelihood woes, where all citizens would lead a satiated life with adequate food and dignified existence. The foundation works with the prime objective of ensuring that every citizen gets the Right to Food through the Zero Hunger Act. It aims at eradicating death and suffering caused due to starvation and malnutrition. It is guided by the fundamental principles of humanity, equality, voluntary service, unity and integrity.food page master

The foundation provides mid-day meals, milk, health check-ups, education awareness campaigns, monetary help etc. to the municipal schools, orphanages, child mobile crèches and centers, cancer hospitals, blind schools and various other such facilities. Service Volunteers and donors work selflessly for the unfortunate amongst us. The foundation has adopted many villages and takes care of the food needs of people there.

Our Pranic Healers and non Pranic Healers extend co-operation by donation and giving service. All the donations are exempted from Income Tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

It is an eternal obligation toward the human being not to let him suffer from hunger when one has a chance of coming to his assistance. – Simone Weil
